Technically, capital cities that are compound words should be acceptable answers, too. Springfield? Spring and Field. etc.

No, if it's one word, a compound word, that doesn't count as two words in the name.

Jefferson City (Not Jafferson City) Also, you should enable suggested type-ins. Mainly, because Saint Paul isn't an acceptable answer when it should be.
