Almost everyone in Northern California just calls it Highway 1. I vote that you make that acceptable.

Agreed. I eventually got the right answer, but only after trying "1", "highway 1", "big sur", etc.

Is it different from US 101? That's what I've always referred to it as.

Agreed. I've never heard it called state route 1. I tried highway 1, highway one and big sur.

Buck1017- yes, 1 and 101 are different routes. 1 is right on the water from the Bay Area down, while 101 takes a more inland route through that corridor.

I tried simply "1" first, and then "Route 1" which worked.

You should accept ''Disney'' for ''Disneyland''. It's assumed it has a ''-land'' suffix, basically all theme parks do.

Jennifer Aniston is more important in California than any other person? I mean at least Jerry Brown was the governor.

There aren't thousands of other things you could put in there other than a Hollywood actor.

29 Palms, San Diego Zoo, Candlestick Park, Alcatraz, San Andreas fault line, Sequoia National Park, Redwood State Park, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater
