Countries Bordering the United States by EEZ (with a map)

Since the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea in 1982, every coastal country has been recognized to have an exclusive economic zone (EEZ) extending up to 200 nautical miles (230 mi, 370 km) from shore. The EEZ of the United States is shown in orange on the map below. Can you name every country whose EEZ borders the U.S.'s?
Certain borders are the result of various types of overseas possessions, which extend the EEZ of the parent country
Each EEZ will appear on the map when you enter the corresponding country. Areas that are disputed between multiple countries don't always appear
The United States claims Navassa Island and a corresponding EEZ, but this claim is disputed with Haiti and is not included in the quiz

This quiz has a lot of potential to be a great quiz; consider adding a map and saying something like United Kingdom (Bermuda) or whatever territory the USA borders. Cool quiz tho, nommed :)

I appreciate the suggestions! I've redone the quiz now to include both points. I think the map might make the quiz a bit easier, but it looks much nicer this way so that's not too much of a concern :)

It's definitely easier now, but I enjoy seeing the EEZs of the other countries, so I think it's worth it.

Great Quiz! Just curious though. Where do Venezuela and The United States’ EEZ’s Touch?

Puerto Rico is definitely not that close to Venezuela.

It is indeed Puerto Rico! A country's EEZ is defined as extending up to 200 nautical miles (about 230 miles) from shore. So, if two countries are closer than about 460 miles apart, there is potential for their EEZs to touch. The shortest distance I can find between Puerto Rico and Venezuela is about 409 miles (between Isla Caja de Muertos and Los Roques archipelago). So while they aren't exactly "close," they're close enough!

That being said, it looks like the distance from Puerto Rico to the mainland of Venezuela is about 500 miles. So without those islands, they would indeed be too far apart.
