I sometimes wonder how they choose the squads-- Top of the table Leicester and Arsenal only contributed one player to the squad each, but my Spurs in 3rd place, and Liverpool in 8th, provide 5 each...

That's partly because many of the best players in the Arsenal squad aren't English, like Özil or Čech.

Not that I particularly like Arsenal but I think Walcott should have been in this squad.

Walcott is such a mediocre player. Had a dreadful season.

Spurs had a fantastic season (despite the last few matches). It's more than fair to have 5 Spurs players. Rose, Walker, Dier, Alli and Kane, all of them are great. I don't understand how Henderson and Wilshere got in. Arsenal doesn't have good English players. The only good English player they have is Walcott and he's currently out of form.

Thanks guys, that clears things up a lot. I forget that not all clubs have as many native sons as my Spurs do.

And Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck are both injured and both would probably have made the squad.

If you think Walcott is good, but don't rate Wilshere, then I think footy may not be the sport for you.

For me I don't rate wilshire and Sturbridge and think that drink water and Defoe should come in

I agree fully. Drinkwater should replace Wilshere, who has hardly played this season, and Defoe should replace sturridge. However, I am glad he gave rashford a chance.

Wilshere is class on his day, still not sure he should have got in above Drinkwater, but it's Hodgson who sees them in training each day. Sturridge is a potential game changer, pointless taking Defoe as he isn't ever going to start, and you'll never bring him on to make a difference.
