Slight correction on some of the answers. Going by the requirement of a minimum of 1 million inhabitants, Fresno shouldn't be on here. Going by both Wikipedia and citypopulation.de 2018 estimates, it has 994,400, which is close but not over. Albuquerque has less with a population of 915,927. And for the Mexican cities, Tijuana is the only one on this list with over 1 million. Also from Wikipedia and citypopulation.de say that Mexicali has 988,417 and Chihuahua has 918,339 as of 2015. I don't know why I put that much effort into a quiz correction but I guess im mainly wondering what source you used.
I put it just because the populations were so close to 1 million, and there aren't many cities close to the Grand Canyon compared to my Niagara Falls quiz.
