Nice quiz but there are a few typos: it should be Franz Liszt, Otto Nicolai and Henryk Wieniawski. To describe JCF Fischer as Czech is strictly speaking correct, but he's known as a German composer and worked almost his whole life in Baden-Baden. In much the same way, you describe Kozlovsky as Russian (which is fine by me) but he was born in Belarus to a Polish family and educated in Warsaw...

Challenging! I've been teaching music all my life and missed 7!

Should have gotten Ysaye. Was he the virtuoso violinist for whom Brahms' violin concerto was written? (I know...I could look it up, but I'm guessing that you know the answer.)
