Food Dish to Country

Adobo just means "sauce" or "marinade" in Spanish. There's also a specific kind of sauce that it tends to refer to, but one that's used pretty widely across Spain and many of its former colonies.

After some research, it turns out there's also a specific, different filipino cooking method called adobo, but I still think it's too vague of a question. Basically every Latin American country can credibly claim to be associated with it.
