Hello friends! If you could take this quiz and make suggestions/ tell me how it went, that would be awesome! This is my first quiz and would love feedback.
Hopefully Trump will be impeached and removed before then, so I guess Pence would be the incumbent. Unless he gets removed, too, and then it would be Pelosi? Except I doubt she would run.
It’d be interesting to see Mike Pence (Gov. of Indiana and proponent of shock therapy for LGBT) to run against Pete Buttigieg (Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, during Pence’s term).
I wouldn't be so sure. Biden's got his flaws just like any other politician, but he's not as polarizing as Hillary was. And I think Trump has received more hatred from the country now more than ever before, and if it keeps up, it's gonna be difficult for a lot of able people to vote for him.
Then again, I'm mostly basing this off the popular vote, which doesn't really matter. If he wins the electoral college again, then we're screwed.
Are Deval Patrick and Mike Bloomberg going to be added? Also, Joe Sestak is not really known for being a former Vice Admiral, maybe add his current position?
I will create another one in the upcoming days that will include the late add-ins and drop the ones who have dropped out. As for Sestak, I have been writing their highest held office but maybe in the next version I will add political experience as well. Thank you for the feedback!
It's interesting to see that most JetPunk Quiz takers recognize Sanders more than Warren or any of the other front runners (not that I am judging it is just an interesting fact). it's interesting to see the demographics and all.
I agree! It was super cool to see them all diverge. Originally, probably for the first four or five days, Trump, Biden, Sanders were all at 100% with Harris, Buttigieg and Warren just below it. Now all of these people have a much larger gap in between the next candidate
I'm speaking as a non-American who has only been casually following everything, but Sanders had built up a name for himself among non-Americans during the last election, plus, his ideas are (again, at least to a poorly informed non-American) pretty unique as far as high level Americans politicians go. I had only recently heard of a couple of the other candidates like Warren fairly recently, and I couldn't really tell you anything about them.
Kamala Harris, Bill de Blasio, Beto O'Rourke, Joe Sestak, Steve Bullock, Wayne Messam, and Tim Ryan dropped out, and Michael Bloomberg and Deval Patrick just jumped in.
You are missing a bunch, most notably Bloomberg but also Kirsten Gillibrand, Jay Inslee, Eric Swalwell, John Hickenlooper, Deval Patrick and Seth Moulton
Apparently you did not read the instructions. They had already dropped out (or not entered in the case of Patrick and Bloomberg) by 1 September 2019. I am glad to see you are paying attention to the details of race but it doesn't seem like you are paying attention to the details of the quiz.
A more permissive approach to spelling would be helpful, as would accepting distinctive first names and nicknames--if I type Tulsi, it's clear I know who you mean, even if I can't remember whether she Gabbard or Gabert.
bzzzzt
Pete: what the hell? a hand buzzer?
Mike: weren't expecting that were you? Are you still gay?
Pete: uh.. yeah?
Mike: hm... strange. Can you wait here for a minute while I go get my wife?
Then again, I'm mostly basing this off the popular vote, which doesn't really matter. If he wins the electoral college again, then we're screwed.
Vote for Yang, cowards!
