Ok I think it's too early for me, didn't read the quiz title.... Started by putting Australia to no avail, so thought huh it must be NZ, nope... I then tried other countries and got angry that the quiz was broken.... Then realised what the title had said.. Will play again after a coffee!

70% of the population speak Russian at home. Only 23% speak Belorussian.
+4
Level 72
Apr 15, 2020
Official data says that while most of the population has Belorussian as mother tongue (53%), now a majority speaks Russian at home (70%). But the data is not entirely reliable because it comes from Alexander Lukashenko's heavily pro-Russian government (he has made disrespectful remarks about Belorussian speakers), so perhaps it's not the best question for a test like this.

Not really. Urdu originated in the Delhi-Lucknow region of India. So, Urdu is actually an Indian language.

Also, only 7% of Pakistanis speak Urdu as a first language.
