Barbie debuted in 1987?? Really?

According to the source, this is when Barbie became a media franchise, but she was released as a toy in the 50s.

Any reason your quiz differs from the source so much? The figures for franchises like Ultraman and Dragon Quest are reported as being way lower in the source, meanwhile some wrong guesses I tried like Sonic, X-Men, and Pretty Cure rank above those two but don't show up in the quiz (along with many others I didn't guess). Also, Wikipedia makes no mention of Jump whatsoever (however they do mention Weekly Shonen Magazine, so if that counts then I suspect you're correct in including Jump).

Unrelated to my other comment, why is Naruto absent? I thought for sure it would be here if Dragon Ball and One Piece were, but I checked the source and it's not even on that larger list! I wonder why that is... maybe it's a weird technicality
