hunebed here, though apparently the word was somewhere in my mind because I got it right...
If you would have asked me what a dolmen was I would have no idea haha (besides that i recently found out it is a type of tshirt, you can choose from if you order tshort) I do know a band that is called the dolmen and thought ahh so that is what they are named after (a medieval folky band).
Weird that I didnt really know what it meant yet my mind came up with dolmen..
Everybody in America, perhaps, but those of us in the Commonwealth know that she was NEVER Princess Diana. Being married in to royalty, not born in to it, Princess comes after the name - so she was known as Lady Diana, Princess of Wales. If you want it before her name, she was Princess Charles, though the only one this is currently the commonly used format for is Princess Michael.
They're not a member of the Commonwealth, I know, but even the French know enough to refer to her as 'Lady Di' (pronounced Dee). It's for this reason, also, that we don't ever say Princess Catherine or Princess Meghan. Nor shall we ever.
Given that this is a D quiz and people just need to write 'Diana', this can be fixed to Lady Diana. Accept Princess if Americans insist on typing it, but it's just about simple respect for her and the system.
Also, she was never "Lady Diana, Princess of Wales" - "Lady" was dropped when she married and not restored when she divorced. If you're going to be pedantic, at least be right.
What is Dante wearing? It really looks like a bra and cape combo. I guess a lot of medieval fashion was tragic, but this seems even worse than my high school prom.
haha, it took some focus but definitely see where you were getting at. But you can also see it as simple two triangles in a different color (golden) as the rest of his garment. Thought they do seem somewhat skincolored, but if i werent for your remark I would never have looked at it as cutouts.
what is more worrying is that it looks like he ran into a wall and his face got flat... miraculously not his nose..
It almost seemed the painter only had a front view to work with and tried to turn it into a side view, especially if you look at the sketch behind it. That really seems like a front view of a face with half of it deleted..just put your finger over the noseline..
If I'm a paranoid conspiratard, why can't I type Deep State for every answer? The quiz maker is part of the Deep State and doesn't want us answering his quizzes honestly.
