Wikipedia says the East Coast doesn't include Texas. I think Texans would agree.

It is not clear to me what you mean by east coast. Not familiar with an US East Coast that doesn't include Washington or Philadelphia but includes the Gulf of Mexico. Certainly the residents of those eastern cities would tell people from west of the Mississippi that they are from the East Coast. Even people from Charlotte, Raleigh or Atlanta might say that. No one from Houston, or Corpus Christi would. Maybe not even New Orleans. I have never lived near NO so not sure about that one.

This is just terrible. Cities that border the Atlantic Ocean? Houston, Corpus Christi, and New Orleans? Even Tampa doesn't fit that description unless you changed the description to cities in states that border the Atlantic. Not to mention, Philly, DC, Atlanta, and Charlotte are bigger than half of these.
