Btw, probably Lugdunum should be changed to Lyon, given that all the other names are given in English (Rome, Milan, Athens...)

Nice quiz, however you seem to have more cities in the west, even though the east was way more urbanized. For example Nicomedia, Nicaea, Miletus, Sardis, Smyrna, Tarsus, Apamea, Emesa, Damascus, Jerusalem etc seem to be missing.

for 300 AD there is an error, population of rome was still 800k. (i checked also with the source you provided).

Reduce the horizontal padding a bit. 300 and 400 AD are getting cut off on the right side. (Can't see the E in Constantinople!)
