Several of these were misleading:

Lake Sakakawea has four state parks, although yes, only one is that large.

Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site is the most prominent historical Native American village, although yes, it is not a state park.

Grand Forks is by no means a small town. It has over 50,000 people and is the third largest city in the state; according to the Census Bureau, it is metropolitan.

#6 refers to the Minnesota border; #7 refers to "the border" but it actually means the Montana border.

North Dakota has other nicknames which are also less popular: the Flickertail State and the Sioux State.
