should accept abbreviations for some teams

e.g. Man u or man city

Sadly for you, I am not a fan of abbreviations - why do it for some teams and not for others. These are their correct team names according to the BBC Sport website, so I am happy with their full names. Sorry.

that's still a bit ridiculous imo, I agree "Man U" shouldn't be accepted but no one says "Milton Keynes dons" for example. If you're gonna be strict why not add "football club" which is in the name of most of these teams too.

Brighton AND hove Albion should also be accepted Imo instead of just accepting "&"

If you look at their website, they are officially called Milton Keynes Dons, so I think it is fair to give them their correct title. If you want me to add "Football Club" I could, but I suspect you would need a lot more time, and would die of boredom typing it.

Ditto for Brighton & Hove Albion.

People are already dying of boredom having to type out the elongated titles of every single football club. He's simply asking why not go all in on the arsey terminology and make us type out FC everytime as well.

More to the point making people type the full title just makes people think they've done them all only to find they've missed ones they didn't realise it hadn't accepted. So giving every team a full arsed title isn't respectful for them if most people end up missing 10% of their inputs, when they did in fact know said clubs.

Thank you for your comment - however I would point out that completing this quiz is supposed to be a challenge, and it is not compulsory for you to do so.

Several clubs are in the wrong league. Barnet and Chesterfield should not even be on here.

Thank you for your comment - I was not aware that any teams were in the wrong league, but I do realise that some should not be there - seems silly to change it now. I will wait till all these crowdless games have been played and the leagues have been decided for next season, then we can go again.
