That's pretty interesting. It does look closer to 5m. There are some mounds around there (including ones taller than that) that are usually excluded because they sit on top of former Buddhist stupas. Those mounds are excluded when making the claim that the Maldives has no natural point higher than 2m above sea level at high tide. There's a pretty new resort that's been built on that island. It makes me wonder if the increased elevation is just vegetation on new piles of moved earth.
