When I first saw the title, I thought this was a quiz about associations for different produce. For example, pumpkins might be the Official Pumpkin Protection Committee (OPPC).

Fun quiz! Maybe add a yellow box? I got a few correct by making wrong guesses on other questions

After trying pumpkin pie and pecan pie for Thanksgiving, didn't know what else to try.

Maybe, but pumpkin pie is much more common. It may be a regional thing. Good quiz though!

Pumpkin, IMO, is more strongly associated with Halloween.

Personally, I've never heard of sweet potato pie. We always eat pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. According to Wikipedia, it's mostly a southern dish https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_potato_pie

A lemon is really more of a term associated with a brand new car that is faulty. I've never heard it used in reference to an old car.

For smelly you could include cauliflowers and brussel sprouts. I think they are much more widely associated with smelliness than the rather obscure (for a large part of the world) durian.

Yes it originated in the south but I've eaten every year and I'm born and raised in California.

Personal experience is a poor indicator of what is "most strongly associated with" something.
