Latin American dictators from the School of the Americas

In the US Army School of the Americas dedicated soldiers could learn, among other things, about counter-insurgency tactics, torture and propaganda. Then they went back to their countries to put what they had learned in practice. This list includes only those who got to be real dictators and not just Ministers of Defense or democratically elected Presidents.

Great history lesson! I knew people who protested at the School of the Americas back in the day, but never made it myself.

Such a sordid history.
