Aquamentus
Usually found in small groups and appear to be ordinary statues until approached. Found in the Overworld of Hyrule.
Armos
These inhabit dungeons and have the appearance of skulls with flames surrounding them. They cannot be killed.
Bubble
These come in two varieties, one being stronger. They have the appearance of knights and hold shields which can make them difficult to kill.
Darknut
Boss of the 5th dungeon.
Digdogger
Boss of the 2nd dungeon.
Dodongo
Boss of the 9th dungeon and main enemy of the game.
Ganon
These are spawned from the death of another enemy. They are the smaller version of the enemy that spawns them.
Gel
These inhabit the Graveyards. They appear over tombstones and more can be spawned from a tombstone if Link continuously touches it.
Ghini
One of the more resilient enemies. They have the appearance of a mummy.
Gibdo
A two-headed version is the boss of the 4th dungeon. A three-headed version is a mini-boss of the 6th dungeon. A four-headed version is the boss of the 8th dungeon.
Gleeok
Boss of the 6th dungeon and mini-boss of the 8th dungeon.
Gohma
These carry a boomerang and throw it in a random direction instead of directly attacking. Certain ones will not attack and will block the way until given food.
Goriya
Very common bat-like enemy.
Keese
Enemy only found in the 9th dungeon. They come in two varieties with one being stronger. They are segmented and grow shorter as they are attacked.
Lanmola
These come in two varieties with one being stronger. They live underground and burrow upwards.
Leever
These tube-like enemies are known to eat shields.

These come in two varieties with one being stronger. They can be found around Death Mountain. They fire beam projectiles which can only be blocked with the Magical Shield.
Lynel
Boss of the 3rd dungeon. They also appear in the 4th and 8th dungeons. They have the appearance of a large man-eating flower with four heads.
Manhandla
Most commonly found in the Lost Woods. They throw spears to attack. Some friendly ones can be found in secret caves around Hyrule.
Moblin
These appear segmented and slowly slither in a random pattern on the ground.
Moldorm
These common enemies shoot rocks from their mouths.
Octorok
Several groups of these are found througouth the 9th dungeon. They have the appearance of eyeballs with wings.
Patra
These are mostly found in the deserts and mountains of north-eastern Hyrule, but can appear in the Lost Woods. While flying they are impervious to all attacks, vulnerable only when resting.
Peahat
These enemies have the appearance of a rabbit.
Pols Voice
These enemies have the appearance of a snake.
Rope
These are skeletal enemies are commonly found in dungeons.
Stalfos
These spider-like creatures have one eye. They have a tendency to jump around the map.
Tektite
These are found only in dungeons. When hit with a weak weapon they will split into another bat-like enemy and will respawn immediately after Link exits the room.
Vire
These large hands will attempt to grab Link and take him to the beginning of the dungeon or room. They can be defeated but respawn very quickly.
Wallmaster
These are found in the 6th and 9th dungeons. They are huminoids whose faces are hidden in shadow by their hoods.
Wizzrobe
These are a larger version of another enemy. They will spawn that enemy when hit with most weapons.
Zol
These occupy all three bodies of water around Death Mountain. They attack by spitting at Link.
