Before they were the Los Angeles Rams, they were the Cleveland Rams. (from their inception in 1937 thru 1945)

They also featured one of the greatest defensive lines and greatest nicknames in NFL history: "The Fearsome Foursome"...Rosey Greer, Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen and Lamar Lundy.
