This is a very interesting quiz. However, a few errors to note.... The dates of coronation are mostly incorrect. For example, Elizabeth II ascended the throne when her father died in 1952, but she was not crowned until 1953. Edward VIII never had a coronation - he abdicated 9 months or so after ascending the throne when his father died, so was never crowned. Edward VIII is mentioned two times, and Edward VII is not mentioned. Also, Victoria was the last Hanoverian monarch - the name of the dynasty changed to Saxe-Coberg Gotha after she married Prince Albert. It did not become Windsor until 1917, when George V changed it to sound more British than German during WWII.

Thanks for your kind words. I have addressed the things you have pointed out and made the following changes. I have changed the typo of Edward VII being absent due to Edward VIII being there twice. Instead of having Coronation year I have changed this to year of accession, I was previously thinking of having beginning and ending of rule but thought this might be too fiddly, coronation year was the first thing that popped into my head and I didn't account for the overlap with dates. As for houses I have kept these the same as per the 'English Monarchs Quiz' by the Quizmaster.

Nice quiz but Edward vii should be saxe-coburg-gotha. The Royal family changed its name to Windsor during the First World War due to the aforementioned Saxe-coburg-Gotha being deemed inappropriate because of it's obvious German associations.

I was aware of the name change during the First World War. Whilst it is technically correct that Edward VII ruled under the name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, I am going to leave it as as Windsor as this is the name we know the the ruling house by now.
