Good quiz! It was very original, and I had never heard of the Eight-Nation Alliance before taking this quiz (I know about the Boxer Rebellion, but had never heard of the Alliance). I have three tips though: First, when I looked up the EIght-Nation Alliance it showed that there is a dash between the first two words, so you may want to add that. Second, if you remove the word quiz from the title it will look more professional. This is a quiz site, so it couldn't be anything other than a quiz :). Third, make sure you have proper type-ins enabled. I'm referring specifically to the United States answer. I tried USA several times, and so I was slightly surprised when I realized that it was correct, but wasn't being accepted. Hope those tips help :)

I just added the type in you suggested, plus one other type in to be thorough for one of the other powers. Thanks for the tips!

Cool. Have you seen the film '55 Days at Peking?', it's quite a good film from the 60's about this subject.
