I could probably have done with a bit more time. After i'd been through all the questions i didn't have that long (35 seconds ish) to go back and go through them again, or try to figure out the spelling of a few. Good quiz thiugh, some very tough ones

I think you'll find that the former name of Zimbabwe was Southern Rhodesia. Northern Rhodesia was Zambia.

"In 1965, the conservative white minority government unilaterally declared independence as Rhodesia." Before that the colony was indeed named Souther Rhodesia.

Not that the clue is incorrect, but Ugandans probably speak less Swahili (almost none) than anyone else in the region.

Victoria, Malawi, and Turkana, along with 6 other lakes, are known as the Great Lakes. Specifically calling those 3 out suggests you want the name of the group, so could you accept Great Lakes as an answer in addition to the more basic "lakes"? I know I'm not the only one who'll get hung up on that.

Also, "coastal city in Algeria" is vague...Algiers is on the coast, too, so why isn't that an acceptable answer?
+1

Definitely add "white" as the type-in for White Nile. The "Nile" bit is implied in the question.
