Note that some of these options have FCS (or lower) teams as possible answers, but these were not included—for instance, Alabama State had a player taken in the first round of the 2019 draft, and Lafayette once ended a 30+ game winning streak.

Additionally, numerous sources were used, but most useful were sports-reference and the official NCAA record books.

As for the 'points scored for a specific number of games', that question refers to how, for example, Army holds the record for points scored in a 9-game season; Oklahoma holds the record for points scored in a 10-game season; and so on up to Alabama, which holds the record for points scored in a 15-game season.
