I think you need to be a little more generous with the spelling of names on this one.

Al Neri is much more than a bodyguard... he is more of a personal assistant/consigilieri

personal assistant would work, but consigliere would really only be applied to Tom Hagen

Rocco Lampone is not introduced in Godfather II--he is the one who shoots Paulie Gatto (and retrieves the cannoli). He even has something close to his own regime -- when Michael asks Clemenza who are all the new faces after the second attempt on the Don, those new hires are all under Rocco.

He is there, but unless you've read the book you don't know who he is. He does not have a speaking part until Part II, and the actor playing him in the original film (Tom Rosqui) is not even credited --- therefore not introduced as a character until Part II.

Actually he has one line (when Paulie accuses him of passing gas) and both Clemenza and Paulie Gatto address him by name during that scene -- the one that ends with a reference to cannoli. But I'll agree that he doesn't show up in the credits in the first installment, so CBTEmple is more right than I am.

Cannolis. Rocco retrieves the cannoliS. Re-watch the movie, people. Clemenza didn't buy one. He bought a box of them. There isn't a Sicilian alive who refers to multiple cannolis as "cannoli". SMH.

I don't think any of the sequels should count.

You're nuts if you think Godfather 2 wasn't a quality film.

Godfather 2 is a great movie (especially if you have seen The Godfather)

agreed, one of the only sequels to ever win best picture at the oscars. not that an oscar automatically means the movie is good, but in this case I think they got it right.

I've read the book and Lampone was the one to shoot Paulie Gatto. This is one of my favourite books ever and I'm only 13.

as you added the italian firstname of the Corleone, you'd add Constanza for Connie
