That is literally the flag of either Qatar or Bahrain and it is literally perfect right down to the number of spikes

It is Qatar, and it has been modified. I think this is the trickiest flag, however.

there needs to be a mixture of easy and difficult flags. If anything, there are too many difficult at the moment, so I won't be changing this flag. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Yes, it's such a well known flag, I had to make the change subtle. I changed the star count because it is a well known fact that there are 50 stars on the US flag. But it seems that by making the change symmetrically, the flag looks correct and few people noticed.

Really, really well done. There were some that I had a gut feeling were altered, so I said that, but when given the actual flag I couldn’t find what had been changed! Again, great quiz.
