I think only one of The Police was from London,3/4 of The Stranglers were from London though,good quiz

I think it's based on where the band was formed. The Police were definitely formed there whereas the Stranglers were from Guildford

A very cool new wave band with a funky touch. I'm quite fond of their first three albums. You could classify them close to The Police, but also Talking Heads or the 80s albums of Rush. They were strangely bigger in the US than in the UK.
