Some of these can be used for other occupations differently, but common culture displays them as weapons (i.e. scythes are used for farming but is also commonly affiliated with the Grim Reaper and murders have taken place with them.)

Description
Weapon
A firearm used in western culture with a rotating barrel. Usually has six rounds.
Revolver
A long, single-edged sword used by Japanese samurai.
Katana
A bow that is fixed across a wooden support and has a groove for the bolt and a mechanism for drawing and releasing the string.
Crossbow
A heavy club, typically having a metal head and spikes.
Mace
A weapon that sprays out burning fuel.
Flamethrower
A weapon in the form of a star with projecting blades or points, used as a missile in some martial arts. Also known as a "ninja star".
Shuriken
A broad, heavy knife used as an implement or weapon, originating in Central America and the Caribbean.
Machete
An old-fashioned type of gun fired by a spark from a flint.
Flintlock
A light spear thrown in a competitive sport or as a weapon.
Javelin
A three-pronged spear commonly associated with the Greek God of Poseidon.
Trident
A swordlike stabbing blade that may be fixed to the muzzle of a rifle for use in hand-to-hand fighting.
Bayonet
A short-range tubular rocket launcher used against tanks. (Also bubble gum.)
Bazooka
A machine used in medieval siege warfare for hurling large stones or other missiles.
