I dont consider gum, or mints candy really like halfthe list was teh stuff I dont buy unless I am sick with a cold and want something to keep my throat damp
Agreed, gum should have a quiz of its own. I just kept guessing different candy brands, figuring I'd leave the one or two gum brands 'til the end. Never realized they'd comprise nearly half of the answers!
That's not the definition of candy. Candy is any sweet confection, under which gum arguably qualifies. It's still a bit of a gray area considering a lot of gums are sugar-free, but my point is the definition of candy has nothing to do with digestibility.
Why is everyone saying that gum is not candy? Since when is gum NOT candy? I don't get it!!!! It's sold in the candy section in stores!!!! When you ask an employee at a store where the gum is, they tell you it's in the candy section!!! More than one person is trying to turn this into an issue and its a nonissue. Sorry for the rant but I can't see how everyone can be so wrong
Should have switched to gum but was trying to get through the candybars first - and like others, I never imagined they'd be more than half. The one thing I can say though, is that I only missed ONE candy bar - butterfinger.
Wow, everyone seems to be really upset about that whole gum thing. Even if you didn't consider it, the info tells you they're included. I wasn't really thinking about gum either but there's nothing to argue about. Even sugar free gums have substitutes for sugar in them. Even peppermint or spearmint are not only spicy but sweet as well.
Yeah gum isn't candy, and although it doesn't have sugar, it has sweeteners like aspartame that, in my opinion, is worse for the human body than sugar is.
C'mon guys, get real! The instructions SPECIFICALLY said that gum was in the quiz. You find gum in the candy section of ANY store. Stop hating, and accept the fact that mac212121 knew what he/she was doing!
This was really hard actually, because here in Canada we have a bunch of stuff that doesn't exist in the States, and don't have a lot of the stuff that is on the list.
I didn't read them either, but don't hate...
