Being up there is an accomplishment most men have not accomplished. Especially nowadays when Djokovic, Federer, and Nadal just won't let you get up there.

Absolutely. I'm sure the $11 million prize money was helpful, but I suspect that the feeling of being able to call himself "number 1 in the world", even for a short time, meant a whole lot more.

Yes, and when you consider all the people who never did get there - Stich, Chang, Ivanisevic, Wawrinka, etc. etc. etc. it's still a feat.
