I think that Baldr should also be acceptable for baldur. Also, I believe the god of the sea is ran.

I agree about Baldr. I recall the god of the sea being Aegir while Njord was god of coves, creeks and such. He was one of the Vanir, father of Freyja and Freyr, and later married Skadi the Jotunn.

Ran is a giantess, wife of the god of the sea, Aegir (i think. can never recall Aegir)

But yeah Njord has nothing to do with that.

I think Njord is associated with the sea, but isn't the God OF the Sea. Aegir was a jotunn though, and was the personification of the sea, I believe. However, all of this is contested because mythology can tend to be confusing, and it doesn't stay the same.
