A lychee is a common Asian fruit, and a pluot is a very tasty plum/apricot hybrid. Try it! You'll like it!

"lychee" "tamarind" and "pluot" still look scrambled to me. Pluot isn't even being recognized by the spellcheck.

lychee and tamarind are common fruits - maybe not where you live, but that's neither here nor there.

great quiz! just the two words that weren't very common words )lychee and pluot) but that makes for a challenging, better quiz to take!

Never heard of pluot, but Lychee i know from Chinese buffets. It's the gross stuff on the dessert island. Looks like a little pear with a hole in it if i'm thinking of the right stuff.

Lychees look like big hard raspberries but the red skin peels off and the flesh is similar to a peeled red grape. There's a large pit or "nut" inside.

In Indian desserts the flesh is marinated in super-sweet syrup, and so the end result is delicious – if you have a sweet tooth. (Assuming I'm thinking of the right fruit.)

Yes. Lychee is delicious, and it is red with a grayish partially transparent flesh, and a big seed in the middle. No idea how one would find it gross. Oh, the rubbery texture...

Idk, is it just me or does tamarind sound like Narnia?

Well, if you mean phonetically it sounds like Narnia, no, no it doesn't. But it does kind of sound like it belongs there with the Calormenes and stuff. Yeah. Tamarind.

There are both apriums and pluots. Both are a cross between apricot and plum; however, apriums look more like an apricot and pluots like a plum. Both are delicious! I cannot say the same about grapples - they are infused with artificial grape flavor and the smell reminds me of grape Dimetapp . . . icky.

I got them all but I technically feel like I cheated as the only reason I got one of them is by typing pluto incorrectly. I thought a pluto could've been a type of fruit and then the correct answer popped up. I've never heard of that before.

For all you people who have no idea whatsoever what a Pluot is, it is a cross between a plum, and an apricot. It's that simple. Also, csgong2, you might want to turn this quiz into a yellow box quiz, because people can just type in names of random fruits and get points.
