Just as a note of historical interest, this is the first SVG I ever made. Back when I first created it I thought it was the best thing ever, but now I realize it's pretty bland compared to most SVGs on the site. Hope you enjoyed it all the same though!

I have seen your interesting comments (you are like a mini kalbahamut. lol), and I didn't realize you made quizzes. This one looks amazing, and a fine idea it is. I hate to be the biggest nitpicker in the world, but the boxes after the Holy Roman Empire have less stroke.

Haha, yeah I have a few quizzes but not many. This was my first experiment with SVGs, so it's not perfect. Still, glad you liked it! And I'll see if I can fix that mistake later :)

Cool quiz. I would suggest adding clues for each empire to make it more accessible. Having both the dates and the timelines makes it somewhat redundant. A clue with the dates would be awesome!

I don't want to put clues because I was worried it might make the quiz too easy/obvious. The point of this quiz is to kinda see whether people can figure it out based on iconic dates (for example, 1453 is the Siege of Constantinople, 1997 is the Hong Kong transfer, etc.), and while the timeline is fun and a cool visual, it's hard to tell exactly when all these empires start/end just by eyeballing it. If anyone else thinks the quiz is too difficult and/or having dates at the bottom is redundant though, please let me know--I'm open to changing it :)

Maybe you could give an additional hint or something, perhaps the continent the capital was (or the majority of the empire was based) or something like that? It was a little hard to figure out which empires to guess, there have been quite a few of them throughout history to choose from after all :-)
