The HDI does not equal happiest countries, nor does it equal best countries to live in. I mean, if a high HDI = happiness then why is the suicide rate so high in the Scandinavian countries?

There are 34 countries at least with a higher suicide rate than any scandinavian country. You should really be asking about south korea and japan if anything.
