The only one that I missed that I might have been able to guess was Maui. The other ones I hadn't heard of before. I would have put in Chincoteague. Maybe Key Largo.

St. John and St. Thomas are also USVI's, not just St. Croix so they should all be here.

Mount Desert is relatively well known as home to much of Acadia N.P. and Bar Harbor to most Americans, but the crowd would.complain if anything too American is on an American quiz site in the English language and the admins are probably just plain tired of babysitting that noise.

In Spanish maybe, but to most English speakers, America is the US, and there are two continents - N/S America.

The quiz description (underneath the title) clearly states that these are islands in the U.S. Other users are more than welcome to create a quiz about islands that covers the entire western hemisphere.

Was just on Mackinac a couple weeks ago. Private passenger cars aren't allowed, but motorized vehicles are. I saw an ambulance and a few construction vehicles. Not saying this is a bad thing--if I were seriously injured, I'd much rather be in a modern ambulance than a horse-drawn carriage. And I think the construction vehicles were only allowed to be there because it wasn't the height of the season yet.
