Good quiz. One thought - English counties are an extremely confusing thing. Some of these are a little misleading (e.g. administratively Nottingham county doesn't cover Nottingham city, Hartlepool is in County Durham ceremonially but not administratively, etc).

Perhaps use the 9 regions rather than counties? Or else alter a few of them to the parliamentary counties, e.g. Middlesbrough and Hartlepool are both in 'Cleveland', Hull and Grimsby in 'Humberside'.

Thankyou for the suggestion; it was a real headache deciding which of these systems to use as the divisions are so confusing.

I have changed "Administrative Area" to "Statistical Region" using the 9 English regions defined in the Maastricht Treaty.

I'm pretty sure this website uses the ceremonial counties rather than the administrative or historic counties. So the person who created this was correct in placing Nottingham in Nottinghamshire, and Hartlepool in County Durham, at least within this website.
