Name the 100 greatest all-time composers of "classical" music (list derived from that of Digital Dream Door). The earliest person on list was born in 1098; none are still living and the two most recent deaths were in 1992. Flags show country of birthplace (as determined by modern boundaries).
Last names alone are sufficient
Two last names appear twice on the list
List includes all time periods (pre-Renaissance, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern)
Great quiz. One gripe: I was wondering how any list of the greats could avoid listing Liszt himself, until I realised that you didn't spell him quite right.
Claudio Monteverdi, Bedřich Smetana, Franz Liszt (still), Gioachino Rossini have typos. There are also several accents missing. Great quiz nonetheless!
A fun and attractive quiz, but Liszt is still spelled wrong! I couldn't believe he didn't make the list (not alone in that). Finally a quiz that includes Milhaud. I wish more people knew his works.
