Ms is not a contraction for miss. And Mrs. is a contraction for mistress, not missus.

Ms. started out as a contraction for "Miss". In the '60s and '70s it was a surefire sign of an unmarried woman who was fighting the distinction of married and unmarried women when no distinction is made for men. Older women rolled their eyes and loathed it. "Master" as a term for an underage male, similar to "Miss" as a title for an underage female has all but disappeared outside overly formal settings.

Wow, fast typing required. I'm a decently fast typer and I almost didn't have time to get the ones I knew (all but Mrs and Po'). I like it, though.

Needs more time or fewer of the same kinds of contractions. I doubt many missed any of those ending in 'll, so what's the point of putting so many on the list.
