I don't think he was being obtuse, I didn't even realize why it would be odd until I read the comment again a few times. also it's probably coincidence. Like seriously what kind of person makes a quiz, and then schedules a reset just on a day that most of the people from some of these countries have been prejudiced against ever since.
No but he alters them sometimes. stealing would imply something different. I think hijacked is used here correctly, especially in the joking sence. QM came in and took the reigns (adjusted..) which is his right :)
(like when (test)driving in car and you steer to close passed something and your dad takes the wheel to adjust accordingly haha)
I was quite surprised to see that Moldova and Croatia have a crescent, since it is mostly used in majority muslim countries (same goes for Mongolia and Nepal). Can someone explain the symbolism behind that?
I don't know about anyone else, but I found that them being in alphabetical order made it a lot easier, to the point that I could fill in the gaps by going through the countries that could fit there. Maybe they could be in a random order to require knowing the flag, like other flag quizzes?

Anyway, what I wanted to say was you can click on the flags to zoom in. Moldova's is on the bottom right.
Made it easier :D
The moon and crescent are the ancient arms of Croatia.
Mongolia's sun and moon represent ancestors of the Moguls.
Nepal's moon represents the royal house and its sun represents the Rana family (used to rule Nepal, now an upper class family.)
Took this from a book I have, hope it clears things up for you :)
