Was really confused when 'Tyne and Wear' didn't work. Where else would Newcastle upon Tyne be? Oh, gotta take out the 'and'...

I don't want to nit pick and I think your quiz is great, but my home town is the county town of Kent, and it is called Maidstone. Dartford and Dover are fairly well-known to outsiders, but I think two more accurate places to use for Kent would be its County Town of Maidstone, and the very famous Canterbury - the only city in Kent, which is probably more in line with the 'County Towns' description.

But like I said earlier, nice quiz :)

I too like this quiz but it’s floored for a couple of reason which I’ve commented below. I do so in the hope, you can make some changes as this is a great idea

In the U.K. county towns has a specific meaning. The administrative centre of the county is the county town, e.g. Morpeth in Northumbria. So changing the question to towns in the county rather than county towns would be more accurate.

Also, some of the towns aren’t towns. For example, Broadlands is a Lrge commercial area to the east of Norwich and the name of the wetland area in Norfolk.

Some of the clues are too easy as the town is a prefix of the county

There’s way too much time allowed

The fact that the answers are in alphabetical order also provides extra clues
