Ahem, most of these... like EVERYONE has heard of. Chamois? Maybe. Macaque? Maybe. Featherback? Maybe. Asian carp? Maybe. Vervet? Maybe. That's it.

Pretty sure everyone's heard of Macaques. There've been a lot of important animal-behavior experiments done on them, and then there was that politician a couple of years back who got in trouble for using the word to refer to a brownish-skinned person.
