Premature Super Smash Bros. Characters

I don’t know how this comment slipped by me for so long, but yes that’s exactly what I meant when I wrote that. I found that the cutscene gave Palutena more of a presence than her appearance in Pit’s final smash. The way I figured the chain goes is as follows:

1. Boss

2. Assist Trophy/Pokéball

3. Stage Hazard

4. Cutscene

5. Enemy

6. Part of another character’s move set (Final Smashes, other attacks, taunts and other animations)

7. Stage Cameos

8. Any other cameos nobody cares about

I’m probably forgetting something and I’ll probably change my mind in the future, if the need ever comes up, but this more or less represents how I feel about everything both now and when I made the quiz. Probably a bit too much thought for a silly little Smash Bros. quiz, but oh well. It’s fun :)

Oh, and to just clear up any confusion, the quiz isn’t asking for a character’s FIRST appearance in Smash Bros., but rather their most prominent appearance (prior to becoming a character). Ridley made a cameo in the back of the Metroid stage in Smash 64 and the Melee opening, but in Brawl he became a full-fledged boss fight and really made his presence known.

I also wasn’t listing trophy, stickers and spirit characters because basically every character from a franchise that was in a previous Smash game has a trophy. Daisy, Bowser Jr., King K. Rool, Meta Knight, Wario, Olimar, the Duck Hunt Duck, Inkling, Min-Min, Pyra and Mythra would also be on this quiz. That’s not my argument against including them I just thought it was an interesting fact btw.
