So, you fixed the spelling of mountain, but not "tongues", "where", having Timor Leste as the English version of East Timor instead of vice versa, the fact that Quebec isn't a country, and the fact that "fire and ice" is a nickname (based on the presence of volcanoes), but has no role in the naming of Iceland. Are you going to get around to those issues?
Named as such because Flóki Vilgerðarson, according to legend, saw icebergs in a fjord. I believe that 'Land of Fire and Ice' is a sort of nickname for the island, however.
