British monarchs

In 1603, when queen Elizabeth I of England died without issue, the crowns of England and Ireland were offered to the king of Scotland. He accepted, marking the Union of the Crowns. In 1707, the Kingdoms of England and Scotland became one country, the Kingdom of Great Britain. The Kingdom of Ireland joined in 1801, creating the United Kingdom. Do you know the British monarchs since 1603?

The queen is dead, long live the king. This quiz has been updated to reflect the death of Elizabeth II and the accession of Charles III.

May she rest in peace.
