Mario Kart Double Dash Special Items
Name every special item in Mario Kart Double Dash!! These are the items that can only be used by specific characters. King Boo and Petey Piranha will not be included because they can use any special item. It's pretty broken.

Some characters have different items from their partners, however, with one major exception, they are functionally identical and are just a different color, so they will be together.
Said major exception will also be grouped with its partner's counterpart, but just keep in mind that functionally, it is very different. It might spoil it if I list which characters these belong to, but people with a fair amount of Mario Kart knowledge will know what I'm referring too. And yes, I'm aware that either character can get either item.

Fireball is the most fun item to use in the Mario Kart series. Not the best, just the most fun.

I've never owned Double Dash, so I expected to not do very well, but I ended up getting 7/9. Pretty good for someone that's only played a couple times.

I agree, that's really good! Though some items like the triple shells and bombs can be used by anyone in other games, so that must've helped.
