I ask for built up-areas, not towns. There are several answers with multiple, distinct, towns that form a continuous built-up area without separation, of which the Medway Towns built-up area is just one.

All three Medway Towns in the built-up area of that name are type-ins (similar for the other polypolic areas). Maidstone is actually a separate town, not part of that built-up area and its own area is a bit too small for inclusion in this quiz (74th, 107k vs the top 50/150k cut off).
