Kauai (1811) and Bay Area (1811-1841) in the United States: Russian fortifications of Fort Elizabeth and Fort Ross.

Montenegro (1806-1807): Russian occupation of Kotor.

France (1815-1818): Russian occupation zone after the Napoleonic Wars.

Germany (1793-1807, 1813-1818): Lordship of Jever under Russian control.

Lebanon (1772, 1773-1774): Occupations of Beirut.

Djibouti (1889): Very short-lived (one month) attempt at a Russian settlement in Sagallo.

Territories occupied in Thrace were occupied during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, while most of the eastern parts of Turkey come from areas occupied by Russia during World War I.

The Norway-Russia border was redrawn in 1826 considering there was no official border line at the time. As for Sweden, Russia occupied Gotland for less than a month in 1808.
