Can you name the countries from which United States has gained and lost territory to since its independence in 1776?
Not including most unincorporated island territories and military occupations (e.g. most related Banana Wars conflicts, Greenland, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Iraq, etc.)
Includes several unrecognized states. Secessionist states from 1860-1861 lumped into one entity.
It's highly recommended to answer each section in chronological order for the best experience.
