The loneliest countries in Europe

Loneliness is one of the fastest growing problems in the world causing further problems both physical and psychological. In many countries, especially the more communal ones, it's even a taboo subject and generally denied - making things worse.

Can you guess which countries are the loneliest ones in Europe?

Note: This source gives numbers from 2017 based on two criteria: 1) No one to ask for help 2) No one to talk to about personal issues (order by percentage of population). See comments for more on the issue.

I tried to search for a proper and global source for a bigger quiz on the topic. There was very little to go by that wasn't behind paywalls and passwords. If you find one, link it up / make a quiz.

In studies where people had been asked "Do you feel lonely" and where "often / very often" were counted as % of population, in the UK, the percentage 2019 was a little over 30% by average (arranged by age groups where the amount of loneliness was 30-40%, source: BBC). In the US, the amount of loneliness felt by people was almost 50% in 2018 (multiple sources via a search engine).

There was also a study where 1 person households (percentage of population) were counted. Their loneliness listing: 1.Sweden 47%, 2.UK 34%, 3.Japan 31%, 4.Italy, 5.USA, 6.Canada, 7.Russia, 8.South Africa, 9.Kenya, 10.Brazil.

Studies and interviews also showed that people in communal societies have a 'secret' loneliness that being a taboo subject due to society values.
