As a keen amateur Jetpunk comment & quiz historian, I surmise that the quiz used to have the 2 French islands labelled as having different statuses, at least one being labelled an 'overseas territory'. QM since changed it per the [better worded] suggestion below. 🔍

Indeed, both French possessions are French departements, or Region, and both are part of France. A french overseas territory would be considered where France has an influence, but the territory don't account directly to France

It is true. There is a very small colouring of purple on the rainbow of the Nicaragua flag.

According to Wikipedia: "The presence of a rainbow in the coat of arms makes the flag of Nicaragua one of only two flags of a sovereign state to include the color purple, alongside the flag of Dominica." .

Indeed... "The Boiling Lake is a flooded fumarole located in Morne Trois Pitons National Park, a World Heritage site on the island of Dominica."

Couldn't the Hot Spring also be called a Geyser?

Apparently, geysers are characterized by their discharge of hot water jets (usually into the air) whilst hot springs usually just discharge hot water.

So, geysers are hot springs, but hot springs aren't geysers...
